"dyox" is a dystopian short film about helsinki in 2080, where the society is only communicating through body language, facial expressions and gestures, not with spoken words.
This whole experiment is leaded by the academy, whilst they try to create a peacful and honest form of living. To improve empathy for better understanding and peace of the attendees, the academy controls their level of hormons.
Together with Marie Rockmann, we imagined the Dystopia. After that we researched through an experiment, where the attendees had to communicate without words and an interview with an expert in body language.
We designed the set and the costumes too. Location wise we were abled to shoot everything in the Bauhaus in Dessau.
